Sophy is getting ready to start her first full day of school. I took her school shopping and she is getting excited about being at the same school as daddy. We have decided to put her in "young fives". She is so shy and attached to me, however she would do fine acedemically but just want her to grow and mature. Another positive note is that she will be home longer with us and not go off to college so soon. I don't think we will regret the desicion and it will be in Sophy's best interest.
Si guy is doing great with potty training, although most of the time he pee's outside in the grass (daddy's doing). He loves to talk and talk about his chain saw and trucks and what ever else he is thinking. We have to go see out neighbors dogs at least twice a day. Silas loves to give them hugs and chat with them. He loves dogs, especially pele, he really wants pele to sleep with him but I don't think pele will go for that.
Ayda is doing great with potty training too. Her bowels still get plugged but she is taking some meds to help that. She's into doing puzzles with Sophy's help. One of her favoriter things to do is listen to poppie tell stories about "Trigger" his horse when he was younger. She will say "tell me about Trigger poppie." After he has told the same stories a dozen times. But it will never get old to him.
The summer is winding down our trips to the lake are coming to an end. It's sad that summer has gone so fast again. The kids have had so much fun swimming and become more daring around the water (don't know if that's a good thing). But it has been fun watching them become more comfortable and enjoy themselves.
Peace out for now!

Cooling off after the race with some oranges
This was Sophy's third time running this fun run race and Silas and Ayda's first time. I hate to admit this but we were dead last, due to Silas being so pokey. Sophy was being a good sport and running back and trying to get him to run faster. She could have ran the whole way this year but she was being a good sister. In the van on the way driving over Sophy said "now Silas and Ayda, when you run this race you might lose your breath but don't worry you will get it back." I was driving just laughing to myself but it was so cute. They really were hot and sweaty afterwards and so was mama.
