                                          We had Christmas at poppies and g peg since they are leaving for Florida.  The kids all got matching aprons and chef hats they are so adorable and Peg made them.

Ginger Bread house

                                        Sophy, Silas, Ayda, Jolene, and Isabella enjoyed making and eating their ginger bread houses.  They frosted, sprinkled, used M&M's, marshmellows, gum drops, and what ever else I found in the cupboard for them to use.  They all had a great time and it went smooth!

Funny!

So at lunch today we were sittting at the table eating and Sophy said "when I go to college and get a car, will you come visit me?" First off I thought is was funny that she thought that she gets a car when she gets to college, oh well I'll keep letting her think that, well until I can get away with it.  Then I explained to her that when I went to college mimi and poppie visited me a lot b/c I lived close by but not all people chose to stay close to home so they don't get to see their mom and dad all the time.  And then she aske can I come back home after college, amd I said "yes".  Sophy started to tear up and said "i'm never going to college."  I don't what that was all about but I wish I had that on tape b/c we all know when she's in high school she won't be able to wait to move out of the house. 

Another funny conversation we had was the other day Sophy asked me if uncle Steve was married yet, and I told her "no", and she responded "good" b/c I'm going to have to marry him and if he has a girlfriend she'll have to find someone else to marry b/c we both can't marry him.  This was out of the blue, her little mind thinks more detailed then it should at her age.

Hey Santa

We went to the mall to visit Santa, Silas went right up to him and gave him a "Five" and let santa put him on his lap.  Ayda went right up tp him and gave him a "five to but didn't want to sit on his lap just stare at him.  Sophy on the other hand didn't want to even go in the area where Santa was.  She just sat on a chair from far away and watched.  Mmmmm.  Is the older you get the more affraid of Santa you get??

                                            We went to a birthday party at maple city gymnastics, the kids loved it and they got to burn some energy.

Carpenter's Farm

 Silas kept putting his hand in so the cow could suck on his fingers, he loved it.  So every time we go he says "come get my fingers cows". and he giggles when they do.

                        The pigs well are pigs and they try to get Silas.  He tries to get they a kiss but they actually try to eat his lips.  He thinks it's so funny but I actually get scared for him

                                           Corn Box

                                   We love Carpenter's Farm!
It's a Family owned farm that opens up to the public for the season.  It has a corn box, straw maze, straw pit, pigs, donkeys, goats, rosters, and bunnies. The Kids absolutley love going there to play.  The best part about is that it's FREE except the straw pit which is ony $1.00.  We have been there at least a half dozen times and plan to go today.  On the way to school Sophy asked if we could go and we shall, it's going to be  a nice day.
