"Sign me up Mom"
This weekend I gave Sophy her first soccer lesson. I have been really good at not trying to push Sophy into soccer, although I tried many times when she was smaller but she never took interest. Sophy saw the goals in the shed and she wanted me to get them out. So of course I did, and she wanted me to be her coach and tell her what to do. I was so excited, I think this was a turning point (or atleast I can hope it is) to get Sophy to start to love soccer. I taught her how to dribble with her feet, and the pull back move. Now I didn't want to get too carried away so I kept it simple. After a while of kicking the ball around in the back yard Sophy turns to me, and says " I'm ready for soccer mom, sign me up."

Looks who's talking!
Silas and Ayda are really starting to talk. A few weeks ago Ayda starting saying "si guy" and Silas has been saying Ayda so clear. They are doing so good at stringing sentences together. Ayda will say "where'd daddy go." She'll also go to the fridge when she's hungry and try to open it and say "peeze". Ayda loves to sit on her little potty. She'll try to pull down her pants and say "poop, poop". Well she really doesn't have to go poop she just likes to sit, although she has gone pee a couple times on accident! Silas will want to sit on the potty next to her and they will keep getting up and switching toliets, like "musical chairs". They think it's fun. This summer will be interesting trying to potty train them. I think Ayda will take more interest than Silas will. But we'll see!
